CARROLL COUNTY KIWANIS NEWSLETTER

10/26/2012

Monday, October 22, 2012 during the regularly scheduled Carrollton Kiwanis Club meeting Program Chair, Loralee Sweeney, introduced the program for the evening, Pam Goetting, Manager of Jefferson Park and the Lifestyle Fitness Center.  Pam at first talked about the thirty apartments and the amenities that are provided for the thirty-two residents.  Some of the features about the facility include a choice of one or two bedrooms, kitchen, garage if needed, chapel, beauty shop, house

keeping if desired, fitness center, swimming pool, and the availability of meals at the Senior Center located in the same building.   The members enjoy many activities together like cards, movies, a library, and special dinners at Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Pam answered questions after her presentation.  Our community is very fortunate to have a retirement facility like Jefferson Park and someone like Pam to oversee its operation.

At the conclusion of the program Club President, David Brockmeier presented Mrs. Geotting with a token of appreciation.
