October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Carroll County Hospital is participating in the campaign with a special pricing and promotions for anyone scheduling a mammogram screening during October.
“Mammograms are still the best way to discover and monitor breast disease,” stated Shannon Jordan, COO at CCMH. “Carroll County Memorial Hospital strongly recommends all women have a yearly screening as part of their overall efforts towards wellness.”
The special price is $50 and includes the exam and an official reading by the board-certified radiologists at Alliance Radiology Group in Liberty, MO. The reduced pricing will not be applicable to insurance claims and payment is due at the time of service.
Special gift bags will be given to all patients who have mammograms in the month of October and each patient will be entered into a drawing for a special basket given away at the end of October.
Exams are available by appointment only and can be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. by calling 660-542-1695, ext. 320.
