A Year of Reflection
January 08, 2018
By Jeff Tindle/CCMH CEO
As another year ends, we reflect over the past 12 months and what an exceptional year 2017 has been for CCMH. We have completed our first full year of operating the new CCMH Medical Plaza where we performed over 900 surgical procedures, added several (mentioned below) new Outpatient Specialists Clinics and – important to my heart – provided in-house chemotherapy for those cancer patients needing treatment. These additions will assure our patients the ability to receive premier healthcare services right here in Carrollton. Clearly, 2017 has been a banner year to validate the quality of healthcare services located right here in Carrollton.
The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank all the employees and families of CCMH for all of the time and dedicated compassionate care provided to our patients in 2017. Christmas is a time of celebration, joy and togetherness and we certainly hope that all families connected with CCMH over this holiday season can enjoy these sentiments. We hope the New Year brings renewed hope, energy and success.
As mentioned, we have added new Specialty Clinics of ENT, Audiology, and Allergy & Asthma, and expanded Rheumatology, Podiatry, GI and Surgery.
I would like to personally thank all CCMH employees for their dedication, skill and passionate commitment to always putting the care of our patients first in their daily activities. I believe the quality of care provided at CCMH has never been higher. What a great team of professional caregivers we have at CCMH. Because of them, Christmas continues to be a very special time for the communities we serve. We recently completed the local campaign to fight hunger in Carroll County where we exceeded last year’s remarkable total of 3,245 pounds of food with an astounding 3,398 pounds! This is CCMH PRIDE at its finest. I am so proud of every one of our caring employees!
Each year one CCMH tradition that I am so proud of is our Angel Tree. Watching the enthusiasm that our staff have in making Christmas special for someone who has needs greater than ours, is simply wonderful to experience. Thanks to each of them for their heart towards those in need. CCMH made it possible for over 75 families to have a better Christmas celebration with their generous hearts and gifts.
May Christmas and the Holiday Season bring a joy and a change of heart to each of us! May we recognize life’s true existence and the real meaning of Christmas. May we become more generous with our hearts and share in our love, skills, and resources with our family, friends, co-workers and to those whom we serve. May we become aware of God’s abundant grace and confident of his timeless promise of salvation.
During this season and New Year, let us be thankful for life’s countless blessings and may the ultimate rewards of life be felt in our hearts. I know 2018 will be even a better year for CCMH and the patients/families we serve. At CCMH we are never content; we just keep raising the bar and finding ways to exceed expectations. God bless each of you. May God grant you and your family Health, Peace, Joy and Prosperity in 2018.
