CCMH Celebrates 10 Years of Partnership with Cerner CommunityWorks
October 06, 2020
CARROLLTON, Mo. – Carroll County Memorial Hospital celebrated 10 years of partnership with Cerner CommunityWorks.
CommunityWorks provides an integrated digital record of a patient’s health history that includes clinical and financial data across the continuum of care. Through this model, Cerner is able to scale traditional solutions and services and enable high-quality care with predictable information technology spend, providing an economical business model for these hospitals.
“In 2010, CCMH made the bold decision to select a new EHR (electronic health record) vendor,” said Amy Ireland, CCMH Chief Revenue Officer. “CCMH focused prominently on choosing an organization they felt would perform as a partner more than a vendor and thus Cerner CommunityWorks was selected.”
Since the inception of the relationship, CCMH has included Cerner CommunityWorks in many decisions over the past 10 years to achieve strategic objectives.
“Over the years, the strong relationship between Carroll County Memorial Hospital and Cerner helped create a robust foundation for CommunityWorksSM,” said Mitch Clark, President of Cerner CommunityWorks and Senior Vice President of Cerner. “The organization has hosted over 200 reference visits, featured keynotes at Cerner events and helped pilot several new solutions for Cerner.”
Ireland stated the partnership with Cerner has allowed CCMH to provide better patient care, improve financial performance and meet regulatory compliance and subsequent incentive payments through implementation of the Cerner CommunityWorks solutions.
“From the early development through the expansion of CommunityWorks across more than 220 hospitals in 39 states, Carroll County Memorial Hospital has been one of our most valued partners playing a major role in our continued success,” Clark said.
