CCMH Foundation Announces Scholarship Recipients

Samantha Barry from Carrollton High School was awarded the Jack L. Tindle Healthcare Scholarship.

Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2016 Foundation Scholarships:

Emily Steele & Cristian Price from Carrollton High School
Lauren Wiggins & Kylie Limback from Santa Fe High School
Morgan Baxter & Bethany Miller from Norborne High School
Carissa Elliott from Brunswick High School

“The scholarship applicants have been absolutely outstanding this year.  These were extremely difficult decisions to make, but we are proud to be able to offer scholarships to such remarkable individuals,” said Robin Creason, Chairperson of the CCMH Foundation Board. These scholarships are in the amount of $500 each.

Another Scholarship Program provided by CCMH is the Jack L. Tindle Healthcare Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000. This year the scholarship has been awarded to Samantha Barry from Carrollton High School. Samantha plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia and major in Health Sciences with a minor in Business. She hopes to use her future degree to work in Hospital Administration.

“Each year we find ourselves even prouder than the year before of our local students. They are community minded and motivated to achieve great things.  We are excited to see where life takes them and are happy to be a part of their future success,” shared Jeff Tindle, CEO, CCMH.

The Carroll County Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization.  It is the mission of the CCMH Foundation to provide financial and organizational support that enhances the quality and availability of healthcare services enjoyed by the residents of Carroll County, Missouri. This will be accomplished by maximizing financial support and being exemplary financial stewards of charitable contributions and committed ambassadors for local philanthropy.
