CCMH Foundation Holds Inaugural Gala
October 29, 2018
“A great community secret was reveled on Saturday, October 13, when the CCMH Foundation was introduced to 170 attendees of the inaugural CCMH Foundation Gala,” said Jeff Tindle, CCMH Chief Executive Officer. “We are so proud of our Foundation Board, staff and all who attended this exciting event. The money raised will allow us to provide educational assistance to many individuals interested in a healthcare career. We look forward to sharing this important Foundation with many more people next year on Saturday, November 2, 2019.”
“The participation we received from our hospital providers, board members, staff, local businesses and community partners to make this event happen was remarkable. It is so uplifting to see everyone come together to pull off a nice fundraiser for a local cause,” said Rachel Davidson, CCMH Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “I also want to extend a very special thank you to our Premier Sponsors, Oak Ridge Assisted Living and Shirkey Hospice. This event would not have been possible without their support.”
The event, held at the Carrollton Country Club, was comprised of a social hour including a wine tasting and professional photographer, four-course dinner, short program offered by Jeff Tindle, as well as two live auctions hosted by Drs. Andy Horine and Rick Smith.
In 2013, Tindle had the vision to establish this Foundation to provide charitable and educational assistance to CCMH. With the help of generous supporters, the Foundation has received over $350,000 since its inception and has distributed approximately $50,000 in scholarships to individuals seeking careers in healthcare or other related fields and employees advancing their education. The drive behind this first large event held earlier in the month was to reveal its mission and raise funds for the young 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization.
