CCMH Hosts Community Trunk or Treat Event
November 18, 2019

CARROLLTON, Mo. – On Sunday, October 27, Carroll County Memorial Hospital staff and community partners came together to set up festive, themed trunks for area children in the CCMH 4 Corners Café parking lot.
The lot was filled with nearly 30 trunks ranging from movie characters to games to spooky scenes. Staff trunks were voted on, and fun prizes were given for Best Trunk, Best Group Costumes and Scariest Experience.
“We were thrilled to have local businesses and organizations join CCMH staff again this year,” said CCMH Community Outreach Coordinator Kate Lyons. “Because of our dedicated, creative staff, we were able to offer a haunted house this year, adding another fun component to the event.”
Six hundred forty hot dogs were served to the attendees who came through the event. CCMH staff held their annual Candy Drive leading up to the event to supply fellow co-workers’ trunks. Of the 14,432 pieces donated, there was enough candy remaining to donate to the Carroll County Area YMCA’s Trunk or Treat on October 31.
“The 2019 Trunk or Treat resulted in 1,122 attendees,” said CCMH CEO Jeff Tindle. “I was so proud of CCMH and all who participated to make this event such a great evening. We had three board members, three physicians, several departments and all of our senior administration staff present.”
