CARROLLTON, Mo. -- Carroll County Memorial Hospital began its newest project addition with a groundbreaking ceremony a little over a year ago. This three-story addition will allow the hospital to expand the outpatient services offered as well as continue to care for patients and their families.

Since the inception of the project, a slogan has been established branding the new facility as “One Number … One Building … One Choice.” Patients will be able to call the hospital’s main number for all services offered to the community because it will all be under one roof.

The new facility – called CCMH Medical Plaza – will showcase two operating rooms, including space for eight pre/post-operative rooms, clinical support services, with a reception and waiting area on the first floor.

The second floor will be our new Outpatient Clinic with more than a dozen private patient rooms including two procedural rooms. This addition will help offer many more clinics right here in our community.

Also included on this floor is a three-bay infusion room, a private infusion room and an IV Therapy room. The setup of this floor allows for four clinics to take place at the same time with two central nurses’ stations.

CCMH will continue to offer clinics in Rheumatology, Oncology and Chemotherapy services, Cardiology and Cardiac Rehab, Women’s Health and OB/GYN, Tele-dermatology, Tele-endocrinology, Urology, Surgical, Pulmonary, Neurology, GI, Orthopedic, Podiatry, Vascular and Wound Care at the new location as well as stress tests, echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms. Other outpatient clinics – such as Geriatric Psych and Nuclear Medicine with Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Ultrasound, MRI and Pet Scans – will continue to be offered as well.

The top floor of the facility will house all of our family practice providers in one location. Jefferson Medical Group, which is comprised of Dr. Marvin E. Ross, Dr. Richard Smith, Dr. Timothy Reid, Dr. Andy Horine, Nurse Practitioner Tara Swan, Physician’s Assistant Greg Stafford and Nurse Practitioner Courtney N. Pitt, will see patients in the new clinical space making access to hospital services much easier for our patients.
