CCMH Purchases Sister Act Community Child Care

January 07, 2018

CARROLLTON, Mo. -- On November 6, Carroll County Memorial Hospital facilitated the purchase of Sister Act Community Child Care.

“When we heard Stephanie and Tom Gang were selling their business, the administration and board believed it was important to find a way to keep the business open and under local management,” said Jeff Tindle, CCMH CEO.

“Unfortunately, quality childcare for children under the age of five is extremely limited in rural communities and access to childcare continues to be one of the highest needs for working families,” said Rachel Davidson, CCMH Director of Marketing and Public Relations.

The program currently serves 28 children and has plans to expand. Expansion plans include, extended hours to accommodate hospital work shifts, renovations to increase the center’s capacity, and playground improvements to accommodate increased enrollment.

Director Heather Falke and Assistant Director Kristyn Peel manage the day-to-day operations with administrative support provided by CCMH staff.

The center is located at 1202 North Highway 65 in Carrollton and operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you or someone you know is interested in enrolling their child, please call Rachel Davidson at 660-329-6002.
