CARROLLTON, Mo. – Carroll County Memorial Hospital’s Wound Care Clinic has been named a recipient of the “Excellence in Digital Health, Mobile Wound Imaging and Documentation” award honoring the best-in-class initiatives to advance the use of digital technology in critical care.

This inaugural award was presented by Tissue Analytics, the world’s leading mobile imaging and artificial intelligence platform for wound, skin, and ostomy management, recognizes healthcare facilities that are leading the charge in adopting best practices surrounding digital technology adoption. Winners were selected from a diverse group of inpatient, outpatient, critical care and home health facilities across the country. “Tissue Analytics is a tool that automatically measures a wound size and takes images so there is no question from person to person on the exact measurements of a wound,” said Emily Braun, CCMH Director of Outpatient Specialty Clinics. “A more accurate record leads to more informed treatment decisions and quicker healing time.
