CCMH Recognizes Physicians and Providers
November 30, 2018
In celebration of recognizing their employees, Carroll County Memorial Hospital holds departmental appreciation weeks throughout the year. Employees are categorized into five groups, and are recognized during one of these five special weeks.
The fifth and final group to be celebrated in 2018 was CCMH’s nine primary care physicians and providers. Those recognized were Dr. Marvin Ross, DO; Dr. Richard Smith, MD; Dr. Timothy Reid, MD; Dr. Andy Horine, DO; Dr. Pam Ralls, MD; Greg Stafford, PA-C; Tara Swan, FNP-BC; Erin Finkeldei, FNP-BC; and Tanya Land, APRN-NP, FNP-C.
“The CCMH Rewards and Standards Team, composed of nine staff members from various departments and areas within CCMH, coordinates these appreciation weeks for CCMH staff,” said Blake Riley, CCMH Clinical Pharmacist and team leader. “The activities during Providers Week were slightly different than the other weeks, as this small group makes such a large impact on our hospital and in the lives of our patients.”
The team dispersed balloons and signs throughout the building, and coordinated a special lunch for the providers. They also had a large canvas made, allowing all staff to sign it. All staff were invited to attend a ceremony where CEO Jeff Tindle presented it to the nine providers, thanking them for their contributions to the organization. The canvas was hung in the Jefferson Medical Group waiting area.
“CCMH is blessed with an extraordinarily talented and dedicated group of providers,” said CCMH CEO Jeff Tindle. “As staff members of CCMH, we witness how well they care for the patients and families we serve each and every day. To be able to honor our physicians and mid-levels for the work they do is truly our pleasure.”
As with the other recognition weeks, CCMH employees held a charitable drive for a local cause. They coordinated a Coat, Hat and Glove Drive, where items collected were donated to HELP Services.
