CCMH Relocates Emergency Department
December 09, 2016
CARROLLTON, Mo. -- As part of the ongoing effort to bring the best and most efficient medical services to the community, Carroll County Memorial Hospital is relocating the Emergency Department to the North side of their campus. The department will now be located in the same hall but closer to the helicopter entrance and new ambulance bay. The entrance for Walk-In traffic will remain the same. It is important to note that the Ambulance entrance will be open to emergency personnel only, and all walk-in patients and visitors will need to continue to enter from the south side of the main hospital building.
“With the expansion of the hospital, we have opened up some space that is more suitable for the patients and caregivers,” said Jeff Tindle, CEO, CCMH. “The new location was previously used as our GI Clinic and with minor construction, is opportune as the new Emergency Department.”
The new location is larger than the current Emergency Department and only steps from the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Departments. The Emergency Department will continue to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
