CCMH Starts Administering Chemotherapy Treatments
June 24, 2016

CARROLLTON, MO -- Carroll County Memorial Hospital has reached another milestone as it is now performing Chemotherapy Treatments at the hospital. A key part of the new Outpatient Clinic is the ability to provide Oncology and Chemotherapy Services. Unfortunately there is an enormous need for these services in our community. Rather than having to travel a long distance every day for weeks and sometimes months, these services will now be available in Carrollton.
The experienced staff will be able to administer chemotherapy in a suite that was designed following suggestions by a group of local survivors that are referred to as the “CCMH Heroes.” CCMH now has four certified nurses who can administer Chemotherapy. Having Cancer Services provided right here at CCMH will alleviate people having to travel to the city.
“One of the most exciting things about the new CCMH Medical Plaza is that we are able to offer so many more services to our community. We want you to focus on your recovery, without being exhausted from driving!” said Jeff Tindle, CEO, CCMH.
