CCMH Strives for Patient Satisfaction
March 23, 2016

Our Mission, Vision, and Values are vital statements that guide the conduct and decisions made by our leaders, physicians, and employees. Our mission describes what we do, our vision expresses what we will be for our patients we serve presently, and in the future. Carroll County Memorial Hospital is ALWAYS looking for ways to improve the patient experience. Effective March 1, a provider and clinic satisfaction survey will be given to patients in the medical and outpatient clinics. A survey collection box has been placed in all clinic areas. Patients will be given a return stamped envelope if they do not wish to complete the survey at the time of their visit.
Questions include: Did this provider explain things in a way that was easy to understand? Did this provider listen carefully to you? Did nursing staff at this provider’s office treat you with courtesy and respect?
Another aspect that will not only help the patients we care for but help the hospital staff better serve our patients is our new secure sign-in kiosks, which went live a few weeks ago. There are numerous benefits to these kiosks, including safe and accurate capturing of patient demographic information, improving the patient experience through a more streamlined check-in process, and increasing the accuracy and decreasing duplicate records.
