CCMH to Open 4 Corners Café to Serve Hospital, Public

July 01, 2016

As with most ideas, it started with a simple thought, a what-if, and grew into a major project that will further bring CCMH together with the community. A new café is being developed that will serve, not only hospital staff and patients, but will be an eating and gathering place for county seniors and the entire community.

Through a partnership with Care Connections, the café will offer lunch Monday through Friday to county seniors and meals daily to staff and the public. The new café is located in the southeast corner of the hospital sharing an entrance with the Lifestyle Fitness Center.

The café will consist of several new food options. An expanded salad bar, a variety of soup, fruit and grilled items will offer lighter, healthier options, while a home-style serving line will continue to offer some of CCMH’s signature homemade entrées, sides, and desserts. The home-style entrées, soups, sides, and desserts will change daily to offer an increased variety of items, while the grilled and fried options will be available regularly. Several “To Go” items will be available for purchase to allow for staff and customers to eat on the run if needed.

Hours of operation are being expanded to help provide better opportunity to folks with less flexible schedules.

Along with all of the exciting changes comes a new name, The CCMH 4 Corners Café. This name has a special meaning, as it brings together CCMH, Lifestyle Fitness Center, Jefferson Park, and Care Connections into one Café.

CCMH is very excited to be expanding its’ opportunities to serve this community and county.
