CCMH Welcomes Behavioral Health Clinic Doctor to Team

CARROLLTON, Mo. – Carroll County Memorial Hospital continues to expand its outpatient clinic offerings by adding a Behavioral Health Clinic. Dr. Kristin Parkinson began seeing patients at CCMH on Friday, November 17.
Dr. Parkinson will see patients age 18 and older for psychiatric medication management. She has experience with diagnosing and treating a wide variety of psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Parkinson is originally from Carrollton, but now lives in Columbia where she operates her own private practice.
“We are excited Dr. Parkinson has agreed to see patients back in her hometown,” said Tim Braun, CCMH Chief Operations Officer. “We are always continuing to build upon the services we offer our patients in order to decrease the amount of time they spending travelling for services.”
Currently, Dr. Parkinson will be seeing patients on the first and third Friday of the month.
Dr. Parkinson received her medical degree from University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed her residency in psychiatry there as well.
Dr. Parkinson is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Organizations she is involved in includes American Psychiatric Association, Missouri Psychiatric Physicians Association and Missouri State Medical Association.
