CCMH Welcomes Dr. Soukieh to Outpatient Specialty Clinic

CARROLLTON, Mo. – Carroll County Memorial Hospital welcomes Dr. Housam Soukieh, MD to the Outpatient Specialty Clinic team. Pulmonologists treat disorders of the lungs and respiratory system, including pneumonia, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema.
“Dr. Soukieh has extensive inpatient and outpatient experience,” said Blake Riley, Chief Operations Officer. “We are excited that Dr. Soukieh is joining our team of specialty care providers to fill the void in our pulmonology, pulmonary rehabilitation and sleep medicine services.”
Dr. Soukieh is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Soukieh received his medical degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has expertise in treating sleep apnea, pneumonia, asthma, among other conditions.
Dr. Soukieh is accepting new patients. He began seeing patients February 12 and will see patients in the CCMH Outpatient Specialty Clinic approximately six days a month.
