CCMH Welcomes Gastroenterologist Dr. Steven D. Kaster

CARROLLTON, Mo. – Carroll County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) is pleased to welcome Dr. Steven D. Kaster, MD, to its growing team of gastroenterology specialists. Dr. Kaster began seeing patients at CCMH on August 10 through the CCMH Outpatient Specialty Clinic.

Dr. Kaster joins a distinguished team of gastroenterologists that includes Dr. Rishi Grewal and Dr. Adam Tritsch, who provide specialty clinic services at CCMH each week. In addition to seeing patients in the outpatient setting, these physicians perform a variety of gastrointestinal procedures in CCMH’s Tindle Family Surgical Center, located on the lower level of the CCMH Medical Plaza, including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and esophageal dilations.

Dr. Kaster earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center and his gastroenterology fellowship at Indiana University Health University Hospital. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and brings more than 25 years of experience to CCMH. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders.

Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Kaster is committed to helping patients understand their conditions and treatment options so they can make informed decisions and achieve optimal health outcomes.

CCMH’s gastroenterology team offers a broad range of expertise and specialized interests designed to meet the diverse digestive health needs of the region.

Dr. Rishi Grewal earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dayanand Medical College in India and completed his residency at the University of Missouri. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Known for his engaging personality and exceptional sense of humor, Dr. Grewal is recognized for helping patients feel at ease during visits by building meaningful connections and bringing laughter to the exam room. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, traveling, and following football, baseball, and basketball.

Dr. Adam M. Tritsch earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and is a board-certified, fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with Advanced Gastroenterology. His areas of special interest include colorectal cancer screening and prevention, and upper gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Tritsch values the opportunity to combine preventive medicine with advanced procedural care, helping patients both avoid and effectively manage gastrointestinal disease.
