CCMH Welcomes New Primary Care Physician Dr. Pam Ralls
January 20, 2017
CARROLLTON, Mo. -- Carroll County Memorial Hospital is proud to introduce a new Primary Care Physician to our community. Dr. Pam Ralls is originally from Gerald, Mo. She grew up on a farm with her parents and brother. She went to Kansas City for medical school straight out of high school and completed her residency at Research Medical Center.
“I have delivered over 500 babies in my career and enjoy full scope medicine to be able to care for the whole family,” Dr. Ralls said. “I enjoy every aspect of knowing my patients and their families and am ready to continue providing full scope medicine without OB.”
She and her husband Jason enjoy the outdoors. They have a French Bulldog named Jackson. She enjoys reading for fun and getting lost in a good story.
“We think that she will fit right in here in Carrollton as she was a self-described band geek in school and can play many musical instruments,” Christy Isaacs, CCMH Director of Marketing, said.
“I am Missouri born and bred. I couldn't imagine not working in rural Missouri. I am from a town of 800 people (which has grown to 1,300 since I moved 15 years ago),” Dr. Ralls said. “I feel family medicine is about treating a family and wouldn't want to be in a big town. I like the community atmosphere of a small town and like getting to know those around me. My last job had that and that is a quality I am looking forward to continuing in Carrollton. I am looking forward to getting to know the CCMH family and Carrollton community. I am excited to work somewhere that feels like family and not just a work place.”
Dr. Ralls is a down to earth person that loves what she does for a living and taking care of people and getting to know them outside of just their illness. She is looking forward to settling in and getting to know her co-workers and becoming one of the family.
“We are so happy that Dr. Ralls has chosen Carroll County Memorial Hospital for her new practice,”Jeff Tindle, CCMH CEO, said. “She and her husband are in the process of purchasing a home in Carrollton, and will be an excellent addition to the hospital and the community.”
