Local Artist Creates a Living Legacy
March 23, 2016
“We are honored to display a very special piece of art in our new facility,” said Jeff Tindle, CCMH CEO. “It will pay tribute to past and future donors that make our hospital a reality.”
Local artist and cabinet maker, Bob Sweeney, has been working diligently to create a priceless, hand-crafted piece of art from multiple types of wood found in our area. The piece features a riverbed full of stones of varying sizes indicating different dollar amounts donated. The idea originated from the recently formed CCMH Foundation Board that currently consists of Robyn Creason, Judith DeLany, Terre Franken, Stan Kruse, James Gibson, Carolyn Lyon, Emmalie Cowherd, Jim Heitmeyer, Ray Sweeney, Janet Gieseke, David Garber, Cohlby Jones and Casse Brown.
