February 04, 2019

Stacey Lyon was named CCMH 2018 Employee of the Year.

CARROLLTON, Mo. – On Friday evening, Jan. 25, Carroll County Memorial Hospital honored employees with a special event, highlighting special moments throughout 2018.

“As 2018 has been an outstanding year, it brings me such joy to be able to honor the individuals who made it so special,” said Jeff Tindle, CCMH Chief Executive Officer. “In addition to those who are celebrating special milestones with the CCMH family, our staff choose one individual from a group of twelve fellow co-workers who have demonstrated our core values and excellent customer service, to hold the title of Employee of the Year.”

Stacey Lyon, Trina Smith, Crystal Jones, Mona Emrich, Kathy Lightfoot, Abbie Coldiron, Jessica Winkowski, Katie Potter, Kate Lyons, Shaina Cauble, Cindy Kipping and Nicole Billups were selected as Employee of the Month over the course of 2018.

Stacey Lyon was named 2018 CCMH Employee of the Year. Stacey joined the CCMH team in August 2016 and currently serves as the Population Health Coordinator. She has been an instrumental part in Jefferson Medical Group’s Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) accreditation. Stacey is noted by her co-workers as pleasant, helpful, hard-working, compassionate, dedicated and always goes the extra mile.

“I am extremely humbled by being named Employee of the Year and by all the wonderful things people had to say,” Lyon said. “Carroll County Memorial Hospital is a great place to work with amazing coworkers. There are so many people that go into making this hospital and this community the premiere healthcare destination. Doing what is right for the patient is made easy when you have so many good people helping with the cause.”

The population health department, which Lyon heads, is in charge of multiple programs to better care for our population. We provide Annual Wellness Visits (AWV), assistance to patients transitioning home from hospital stays with Transitional care Management (TCM) and assist patients remotely with their chronic conditions through Chronic Care Management (CCM). We work closely with community organizations and members to assist patients with their healthcare needs. Our focus on preventative measures helps patients to live their healthiest lives. This focus on prevention extends to preventing new diseases and worsening of chronic conditions.

“Stacey Lyon exudes what it means to be the Employee of the Year,” said Breanna Bredehoeft, CCMH Director of Operations. “She is consistently putting patients first, going out of her way for patients and is continuously ahead of the curve when it comes to building and growing CCMH's Population Health Program. Stacey lives out CCMH's Mission, Vision and Values every day. If the list of expectations for EOY was a checklist, she easily checks off every bullet point on that list. It is a pleasure and honor to work along Stacey!”

Four employees were honored for 15 years of service with CCMH; Sandy Berghager, Kendall Gladbach, Sherry McCoy and Mary O’Dell. Two employees, Candy Hart and Lorna Wright, celebrated a milestone of 25 years with the organization.

Danielle Hamilton, Brad Lyon, Jeniffer Smith, Dr. Richard Smith and Greg Stafford were recognized for 10 years. Ashley Ahnefeld, Kristen Butterfield, Marsha Carter, Nicole Collette-Fernandez, Holly Franklin, Emily Frazier, Mary Beth Garrison, Toni Hall, Tanya Land, Jennifer Link, Megan Raynes and Corena Spencer were acknowledged for 5 years.
