According to the Professional Hearing Center, Sara believes that by helping patients understand their hearing loss and their hearing aid technology, she is empowering them to take control of their ability to communicate again. “One of the hardest parts of my job is watching people struggle because of their inability to communicate. Sometimes it’s not being able to communicate with friends and family members; sometimes patients are struggling to communicate with doctors or caregivers. I believe that by educating my patients and spending the time they need, I can help them focus less on their hearing aids and more on hearing what they want to hear again.”
